09:49 Server Administrator-> You have connected to an OpenRPG server, version '1.7.0'.
You may encounter adult conversations, concepts and material on this server. If you're under the age of consent, get out now. My arse is now officially covered... parents and watchdogs, take responsibility for your own damn kids, 'cos I sure as hell won't.

Enjoy the freedom of communication with the new OpenRPG Veav I message board. That's right, for those who haven't been taking notes, the board has changed. There is no other OpenRPG Veav server. If you see one on the server list, it is somebody who probably violated rule one and got their ass banned. OpenRPG Veav I does not condone or support piracy or intellectual property theft.

This is a friendly server. I don't much care what you do, so long as you do it in a civilized manner. This means you can discuss anything you like and say anything you like, using whatever words you choose - so long as you aren't being an asshole.

09:50 (418) Bill: Aloha!
09:50 (423) Natrix (enter): 09:50
09:50 (420) gerardpaloma: Hey hey
09:50 (423) Natrix: greetings mortal slave worms
09:50 (421) arthurtuxedo: Heya
09:51 ** (418) Zeke sticks his toungue out at Natrix **
09:51 ** (423) Natrix bites it off **
09:52 (418) Bill: Sometime I really dislike computers...
09:52 (418) Bill: My music playing software of choice has packed up again,
09:53 (420) gerardpaloma: Kick it squah in the nuts!
09:54 (418) Bill: the current partitioning system I'm using is seriously messed up,
09:55 (423) Natrix: Is it bad that I am tempted to throw open my curtains and walk around my dorm room naked?
09:55 (420) gerardpaloma: For you? Not at all.
09:55 (424) Nikoda (enter): 09:55
09:55 (418) Bill: And a torrent hit the maximum file size for vFAT.
09:56 ** (424) Nikoda 's stuff takes waaaay to long too load. **
09:56 (423) Natrix: heh, that would be the least of people's worries hehe
09:56 (418) Bill: I need to essentially nuke the site from orbit and start again.
09:56 (420) gerardpaloma: That sucks
09:56 (421) arthurtuxedo: This is ridiculous
09:56 (421) arthurtuxedo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkEu-PdVlK0
09:58 (418) Bill: Part of the problem is that when I partitioned it up I had practically zero *nix experiance. The other part is that the only well supported file system by both windows and linux is FAT, and fat is pretty damn crap.
09:58 (423) Natrix: no.... no... that isnt right
09:59 (420) gerardpaloma: Yeah, that's pretty awesome. There was a story about a student from...Stanford, I think a few years ago that modified his own car so it would parallel park itself. He had like a Pentium 2 in the trunk. I doubt it was all fancy with the video screen.
09:59 (423) Natrix: nice
09:59 (424) Nikoda: So autopiloted cars will either cut down on traffic accidents or increase people going "It wasn't me! It was the car!"
10:00 (423) Natrix: indeed
10:00 (423) Natrix: brb making tea
10:00 (423) Natrix: yay tea
10:01 (421) arthurtuxedo: And then the other guy says "You don't even have an autopilot in that thing," to which the person responds "Of course not, because I was so disatisfied that I ripped it out!"
10:01 Attempting to assign the role of PLAYER to (418) Zeke...
10:01 Attempting to assign the role of PLAYER to (420) gerardpaloma...
10:01 (418) Zeke: Well, everyone is connected to the server. I just wonder why SC's not joined the room.
10:01 Attempting to assign the role of PLAYER to (423) Natrix...
10:01 Attempting to assign the role of PLAYER to (424) Nikoda...
10:02 (420) gerardpaloma: Yeah, autopiloting is a neat idea, but I think it will be a while (if ever) before it's actually feasible on a large scale.
10:02 ** (424) Mace nods. **
10:02 (420) gerardpaloma: It's like the flying car.
10:02 (423) Natrix: she must be destroyed
10:02 (424) Mace: Plus, it's nice having the ability to drive.
10:02 ** (424) Mace likes driving. **
10:03 (423) Natrix: Oh, BTW: you guys will get a kick out of the backstory for my villian....
10:03 (420) gerardpaloma: I mean, there really wouldn't be a point in getting a muscle car or an exotic or even a 4x4 if it was all autopilot.
10:03 (424) Mace: Nope.
10:03 (424) Mace: Autopilot should be reserved for people under 25 and over 65. *G*
10:04 (423) Natrix: bah, there is no point in getting any of those save to say "mate with me"
10:04 (424) Mace: I dunno.
10:04 (423) Natrix: a 4x4 is usefull if you are someone who actually needs to offroad
10:04 ** (424) Mace likes muscle cars. **
10:04 (420) gerardpaloma: I was going for the fun to drive angle, actually.
10:04 ** (424) Mace likes the power they have. **
10:04 (423) Natrix: yeah, that's what you tell yourself.
10:04 (423) Natrix: hehe
10:04 (389) Silva (enter): 10:04
10:05 (424) Mace: My cat just threw himself into my window...
10:05 (389) Silva: Hello
10:05 (424) Mace: Wow...
10:05 (423) Natrix: But subconciously, it is all about attracting the potential mates
10:05 (420) gerardpaloma: Hey hey
10:05 ** (424) Mace needs to do damage control...brb. **
10:05 (423) Natrix: poor kitty
10:05 (421) arthurtuxedo: Actually, I don't think autopilot is all that infeasible. They built a computer that safely landed a space shuttle on the moon in 1969, after all.
10:05 (423) Natrix: this is true
10:05 (423) Natrix: mmmm space shuttle
10:06 (423) Natrix: speaking of which, the sci-fi system is coming along well
10:06 (421) arthurtuxedo: Awesome
10:06 (420) gerardpaloma: But that's one vehicle in a remote environment. If something had gone wrong, only a couple of people would have been affected.
10:07 (424) Mace: And all their families and so on and so forth.
10:07 (420) gerardpaloma: Well, I mean directly.
10:07 (423) Natrix: true, but our computers have advanced a lo since '69
10:07 (421) arthurtuxedo: True, but computers don't really make mistakes. And the only reason they crash is because of shoddy code. An autopilot CPU would only run one specific, thoroughly tested program.
10:08 (418) Zeke: And even with an autopilot failure, they probably could still abort.
10:08 (418) Zeke: Most 'passengers' wouldn't be paying enough attention.
10:08 (420) gerardpaloma: I suppose. But I'm not going to get excited about autopilot until it's a standard feature in every new automobile. Until then, it's just talk. Like the flying car.
10:08 (424) Mace: Crazy feline...brb again.
10:08 (421) arthurtuxedo: Case in point, the F16 fighter jet is aerodynamically unstable. If its computer suffered an error, it would immediately be shaken to pieces and its pilot would be killed. But it's been decades and that hasn't happened once.
10:09 (418) Zeke: I thought it'd just crash.
10:09 (418) Zeke: Total control failure.
10:09 (421) arthurtuxedo: Perhaps that was it. Anyway, it's never happened in almost 30 years.
10:10 ** (424) Mace wonders why she can't have a cat that doesn't demand attention. **
10:10 (420) gerardpaloma: Because all cats are like that.
10:11 (424) Mace: No they're not. Some are independent.
10:11 (424) Mace: Some don't growl at you and take a flying leap towards your head...
10:11 (420) gerardpaloma: Correction: all the cats I've had are like that.
10:11 (424) Mace: Want another one? *G*
10:11 (420) gerardpaloma: I've got one too many as it is.
10:12 (421) arthurtuxedo: Flying cars are different. They use expensive and maintainence-intensive technology that isn't any more feasible for personal use now than it was 60 to 100 years ago (depending on whether you're talking about using jets or props). The fuel is also expensive, especially since VTOL would use a lot of it at once, and a flying car would need to have VTOL to take off on a street.
10:14 (418) Bill: Or STOL. And what about all that jet blast?
10:14 (421) arthurtuxedo: In the 1920's people thought they would go to work on one-person flivver planes because they thought the technology would keep getting more reliable and inexpensive, but it didn't, and it won't. Autopiloted cars aren't like that, because computers do keep getting cheaper and better, and in a few years such a system might only cost a few hundred bucks to install.
10:14 (418) Bill: Oh, and the over head powerlines. Can't forget the powerlines
10:15 (421) arthurtuxedo: Yeah. You can't use a turbofan because it would be unsafe. You can't take off when there's powerlines ahead. I don't see how you could possibly power a flying car with props. It's just a fundamentally unworkable idea. Maybe in 100 years.
10:16 (418) Bill: Antigravity is the way!
10:16 (421) arthurtuxedo: Hehe
10:16 (418) Bill: Ignore the fact that we have no idea about how to impliment it.
10:16 (424) Mace: Magic.
10:16 ** (424) Mace nods. **
10:17 (421) arthurtuxedo: Maybe by then we'll just teleport all over the place :)
10:17 (420) Tusken: Ok, so I guess it's not like the flying car. But I'm still taking a wait and see approach. It's not clear whether there's actually a demand for autopilot, it's not clear on the legality of autopilot (i.e. would you be required to use it at all times, only on the freeway, etc.), and it's not clear when a piece of autopilot software would be safe enough to start using. So until the situation is more clear, I remain skeptical.
10:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: That's valid. But we probably will see auto-parking become standard pretty soon, because it's not that hard to implement and should become pretty cheap in a few years. I'll definitely welcome it, as I hate parking in the city.
10:21 (420) Tusken: Anyway, everyone's here. I saw we get started.
10:21 (421) arthurtuxedo: I'd also like to see a camera on the rear bumper, so you can see exactly when you're going to hit something, and maybe on the side view mirror, too. You could put a camera in the center of it, and replace the mirror itself with a display. No blind spot.
10:21 (389) Silva: Seconded.
10:22 (418) Bill: Yeah, no blind spot'd be good
10:23 (423) Natrix: SO, we going to start at some point?
10:23 (418) Bill: Well, we have everyone, so should we start now?
10:23 ** (424) Mace repeats the same thing. **
10:25 (421) arthurtuxedo: Sorry, was tied up for a sec. Let me get my files open. We might have a short session today, as I havne't planned out what Talakis will actually say or do when you break him out.
10:25 (421) arthurtuxedo: Did anyone send me character sheets this morning, or does someone need to do that?
10:26 (424) Mace: I'm pretty sure I already sent mine a while back...if I was going to.
10:26 (424) Mace: That's right, I wasn't going to.
10:26 (424) Mace: Nevermind.
10:26 (420) Tusken: I updated mine last week.
10:26 (423) Natrix: no changes to mine
10:26 (423) Natrix: you know, you could always wing the dialogue and such
10:26 (389) Silva: Did you get mine for this session? I can't remember if I sent it.
10:26 (423) Natrix: what is he going to do? Curse our named for rescuing him?
10:26 ** (424) Mace laughs. **
10:27 (424) Mace: "Screw you! I like it here! Prison sex is great!"
10:27 (389) Silva: Either way, all I did was put a concentration in augmentation, to make it have 2, and up my stealth.
10:27 (423) Natrix: I actually have points in stealth now kids....
10:28 (418) Zeke: Like the change log stated, I increased spot by 1 to a grand total of a SL of 4!
10:30 (421) arthurtuxedo: Okay, made the change to Silva. Received the new Zeke and Tusken, no changes to Mace and Natrix. Correct?
10:30 (424) Mace: Hai!
10:30 (423) Natrix: jawohl
10:31 (420) Tusken: Correctamundo!
10:31 (421) arthurtuxedo: Cool. Double digit AT's in stealth for everyone now
10:31 (418) Zeke: Da
10:31 (421) arthurtuxedo: Not so much with the tripping and knocking things over now, maybe :)
10:31 (423) Natrix: praise the LORD
10:31 (423) Natrix: \maybe...
10:31 (424) Mace: Yay!
10:32 (418) Zeke: we can hope!
10:34 Attempting to assign the role of PLAYER to (389) Silva...
10:34 (421) arthurtuxedo: Previously on Heretics
10:34 (421) arthurtuxedo: While the group was wondering how to get through the double-gates ahead, status of the bell unknown, a guard stumbled on them and was subdued by Zeke's chokehold.
10:35 (421) arthurtuxedo: * * * Session 4 Start * * *
10:35 (424) Mace: (( We're in a hall, right? ))
10:35 (418) Zeke: "Strip him!"
10:35 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Yes)
10:35 (389) Silva: (Outside)
10:35 (423) Natrix: (yay stripping!)
10:35 (389) Silva: (Nm)
10:35 (424) Mace: (( All righty. ))
10:36 ** (424) Mace strips the guard and puts on his outfit. **
10:36 ** (423) Natrix goes about the task of stripping him **
10:36 ** (424) Mace likes dressing up! **
10:36 ** (423) Natrix coudnt get away with it **
10:36 (418) Zeke: (( How mean would it be to put the guard in a cell? ))
10:36 (424) Mace: (( Not very. ))
10:36 (423) Natrix: (poetic justice)
10:37 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Of course, the cells are through the double-doors. These are the private quarters)
10:37 (423) Natrix: (especially if we mar his face so he isnt recognized)
10:37 (418) Zeke: (( That's evil. ))
10:37 (389) Silva: (If silva uses polymorph to look like the gaurds, is there any way short of magic for them to know she isn't?)
10:37 (421) arthurtuxedo: (No)
10:37 (389) Silva: (Acid! Or corrosion magic! Silva will help)
10:37 (418) Zeke: (( So why is part of me saying 'do it?' ))
10:38 (423) Natrix: (I could perhaps bend one to my will, make him not sound the alarm and just stand there)
10:38 (424) Mace: (( You're sick just like the rest of us? ))
10:39 (418) Zeke: (( I take it he's been stripped down? ))
10:39 (423) Natrix: (Is he cute?)
10:39 (424) Mace: (( I call dibs if he is! ))
10:39 (423) Natrix: (oh no you dont)
10:39 (389) Silva: (I can fly over and hit them with spells, maybe, if I roll well.)
10:39 (424) Mace: (( Already did, baby. ))
10:40 (423) Natrix: (so fucked up... fantasy date rape)
10:40 (418) Zeke: "Right. Time to tie him up."
10:40 (423) Natrix: (ooh kinky)
10:40 (424) Mace: Maybe we should let Natrix do it.
10:40 ** (424) Mace winks at Natrix. **
10:40 (418) Zeke: (( I could see that coming a mile off... ))
10:40 ** (423) Natrix ties him up **
10:40 (423) Natrix: and gags him
10:41 (418) Zeke: "Now, we dispose of the blocking guards with the disguise, and then dump this idiot in the cells"
10:42 (418) Zeke: "I don't mind babysitting him."
10:42 (424) Mace: Try not to carve him up too badly.
10:42 (423) Natrix: "Hopefully it works. If it doesnt, I can toss them around with telekinesis... or burn the rope to a crisp"
10:43 ** (424) Mace nods. **
10:43 (424) Mace: (( So...uh...how am I doing this? ))
10:43 (389) Silva: (And what do you want Silva to do?)
10:43 (418) Zeke: "Oh, yeah. If you don't mind I'd like to get the throwing knife I'd dropped back at somepoint"
10:43 (424) Mace: (( Do I just swagger up and go, "Howdy gents. Fine weather. Got an orc here...need to find him a home." ))
10:44 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Basically. You can use your Command AT)
10:44 (423) Natrix: (Honestly, I dont think it will work)
10:44 (389) Silva: (Buffing spell on him first.)
10:44 (423) Natrix: (these guards probably all know eachother, interunit espirit de corps. they probably get introduced to the newbs)
10:44 ** (420) Tusken draws his axe and puts both hands behind his back. **
10:44 (424) Mace: (( Yeah, my Command isn't that great...it's not TERRIBLE, but... ))
10:44 (418) Zeke: (( Join Mace as a disguised guard using polymorph, or polymorph into something that can get over to and cut the bell rope. ))
10:45 (424) Mace: (( He's a big bald guy...They all look the same... ))
10:45 (418) Zeke: (( The disguise is to get close. Then you can cause your patent brand of mayhem. ))
10:45 (389) Silva: (Ok, buffing Mace, 10 strand skill augment command, +5 to skill, dropping sense creature spell to mantain.)
10:46 (423) Natrix: (well, I will buff your command skill, then use the lceansing fire, I suppose)
10:46 (418) Zeke: (( Did the guard I dropped have keys to the gates? ))
10:46 (420) Tusken: (woot, "Take No Prisoners" is playing)
10:46 (389) Silva: ([1d10+18-10] -> [5,18,-10] = (13))
10:46 (389) Silva: (10 seconds, touch)
10:46 (421) arthurtuxedo: (He has a keyring)
10:46 (424) Mace: (( Oooh, keys.. ))
10:46 ** (424) Mace picks up the keys. **
10:46 (418) Zeke: (( Nuts! and there was I taking prisoners! ))
10:47 (389) Silva: (Polymorph spell, fly over as a bird, and then blast the bell.)
10:47 (421) arthurtuxedo: (But the keys aren't labeled)
10:47 (424) Mace: (( Well...that's a bitch. How many keys are there? And do they all look the same? ))
10:48 (423) Natrix: Natrix begins casting as well, buffing his Charisma. He reaches out and touches him when the soell is complete. (set duration 30 rounds)
10:48 (423) Natrix: [1d10+8-10] -> [9,8,-10] = (7)
10:48 (423) Natrix: (that is a 5 point increase to charisma)
10:48 (418) Zeke: (( what happened to the set of keys we used to bust out of here in session 1? ))
10:49 (418) Zeke: (( and can anyone remember which of the keys we used last time? ))
10:49 (421) arthurtuxedo: ([1d10 + 10] -> [4,10] = (14) keys, mostly look different)
10:49 (421) arthurtuxedo: (You picked the locks last time)
10:49 (424) Mace: (( I used bones... Wee! ))
10:49 (424) Mace: (( Fourteen keys? Egad.. ))
10:50 (418) Zeke: (( I remember using a keyring Zeke recovered from one of the two guards at this point last time we were here ))
10:50 (424) Mace: (( That's right... Zeke did have a keyring. ))
10:50 (423) Natrix: (you know, you could always match the keys with the lock, that can be done without too much noise)
10:51 (424) Mace: (( As far as my not using keys, I could act like I need both my hands to hold the orc in submission. ))
10:51 (423) Natrix: (Ah, they are on this side of the door)
10:51 (418) Zeke: (( what do you roll to remember the key you used last time you tried to escape a prison a week ago? ))
10:51 (389) Silva: (5 hit points=100+hth range short=-30, 8 sprint speed=80, can cast spells=400, flight=50 total=15 strands) (1minute, touch, 3 strands for stealthy casting, 1 for feedback [1d10+20-19] -> [7,20,-19] = (8))
10:51 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Aptitude)
10:51 (421) arthurtuxedo: (DF 10)
10:52 (418) Zeke: [1d10+5] -> [5,5] = (10)
10:52 (389) Silva: (-5 to magic skill)
10:52 (389) Silva: (Dropping the armor spell to cast)
10:53 (418) Zeke: (( matching is good enough, right? ))
10:53 (418) Zeke: (( MoS = 0 ))
10:53 (423) Natrix: (still made the DF)
10:53 (421) arthurtuxedo: Zeke recalls which key he used to open the gate last time.
10:53 (423) Natrix: (even if you had to strain your brain)
10:54 (424) Mace: (( Sweet. ))
10:54 (418) Zeke: "Ah, Mace. If you need to unlock the gates, it is this key" he says, showing the correct key.
10:55 ** (424) Mace nods and studies the key and it's position on the ring to remember it. **
10:55 (421) arthurtuxedo: (What does Silva turn into? A guard with wings?)
10:55 (423) Natrix: (BTW: are the guards here have ther backs to the door, or are their backs to the wall by the door?)
10:55 (389) Silva: (A bird)
10:55 (424) Mace: (( It's the tooth fairy. ))
10:55 (423) Natrix: (A gant cockroach would have been better)
10:55 (389) Silva: (I used the +50 points from the Apprentices, so if its more or less I can change it)
10:56 (423) Natrix: (they would't care about a cockroach, a bird is down right suspicious)
10:56 (421) arthurtuxedo: Silva casts as the others discuss, after a minute, she transforms into a bird.
10:57 (423) Natrix: (so, the question about guard placement?)
10:57 (389) Silva: (Yes, I agree, but I really rather would not have been unable to flee. Also, a coachroach would be easy to kill. The bird, you need a ranged weapon for.)
10:57 (424) Mace: (( Or a bigger bird...That would suck... ))
10:57 (423) Natrix: (No no no... cockroaches have wings, they can fly)
10:58 (423) Natrix: (and if you think a cockroach couldnt escape two guards...)
10:58 (424) Mace: (( Is that an issue in this world, art? If you're a mage and you turn into an animal, other animals can eat you? ))
10:58 (389) Silva: (... It says imaginary creature anyway.)
10:58 (423) Natrix: (will a squirrel fall in love with you, sexually harass you, and touch you inappropriatly?)
10:59 (423) Natrix: (a cookie for the reference)
10:59 (418) Zeke: (( I got nothing. ))
10:59 (424) Mace: (( Being a mage in this world might be a furry's dream come true. ))
10:59 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Other animals can make attacks against you, yes.)
10:59 (421) arthurtuxedo: (What question about guard placement?)
10:59 (421) arthurtuxedo: (I must have missed it)
11:00 (423) Natrix: (Do the guards have their backs directly against the door, or are they off to the side with their backs against a wall?)
11:01 (421) arthurtuxedo: (The second one)
11:01 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Although you'll have to ask Mace. Natrix can't see them himself)
11:01 (424) Mace: (( Like I remember. ))
11:02 (423) Natrix: (cool. Also, with brute telekinesis, can I toss them in any given direction, or only 'forward' or 'backward'?)
11:02 (424) Mace: (( So I'm bringing orc boy up and trying to get them to open the gate and getting their attention/whatever before they can ring the bell or something/ ))
11:03 (420) Tusken: (And they get dead after they open the gate)
11:03 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Forward or backward. That's it. That's why it's called 'brute telekinesis' :) )
11:03 (424) Mace: (( So are we ready to make this happen or what? ))
11:03 (418) Zeke: (( Thats the idea. I stay to guard Mr Idiot. ))
11:03 (423) Natrix: (so it is like force push and force pull, OK. there goes the idea of violently throwing them into the cieling)
11:03 (418) Zeke: (( I'm ready! ))
11:04 (389) Silva: (Yes)
11:04 (423) Natrix: (brb, call of nature)
11:04 (424) Mace: (( I suppose we should wait for him? ))
11:04 (420) Tusken: (I'm so ready, and I don't even know it)
11:04 (424) Mace: (( Pending on which call of nature he's referring to... ))
11:04 (418) Zeke: (( is he part of Team Mayhem? ))
11:05 (424) Mace: (( Hey, I just like the thought of being able to drag orcboy around and grope him a bit and...wait.... ))
11:05 (418) Zeke: (( I just want to check, Mace is male, correct? ))
11:05 (424) Mace: (( Mace is, but I'm not. *G* ))
11:06 (423) Natrix: (back)
11:06 (418) Zeke: (( Hence the ooc, right. *nods* ))
11:06 (420) Tusken: (I can't play a character against my gender. They'd all turn out to be whores, or awful stereotypes)
11:06 (423) Natrix: (the fast call of nature)
11:06 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Map scale is 1 to 3 on the East-West axis, 1 to 1 on the North-South)
11:06 (424) Mace: (( I'll play a pimp to your whore. *G* ))
11:07 (423) Natrix: (this is going to be fun)
11:07 (418) Zeke: (( I always end up with the Queen Bitch from Hell when I try that. It's annoying. ))
11:08 (424) Mace: (( You guys must have shitty female role models in your life. *G* ))
11:08 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Men can't write female characters worth shit. Just watch some TV to find that out)
11:08 (421) arthurtuxedo: (I don't even try to play female characters)
11:08 (424) Mace: (( CorSec's not too bad at it. ))
11:09 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Yeah, he's pretty good)
11:09 (423) Natrix: (I have never played a female character either... I may try one day)
11:09 (424) Mace: (( And he's actually quite male... ))
11:09 (424) Mace: (( ANYway... ))
11:09 (421) arthurtuxedo: (So he says...)
11:09 (424) Mace: (( I've known him long enough to know. ))
11:09 (418) Zeke: (( 2 out of 2 is pretty bad. I want to improve, though. ))
11:10 (424) Mace: (( Silva dear, did you up my Comman? ))
11:10 (424) Mace: (( Er...CommanD. ))
11:10 (423) Natrix: (yeah, by 5. and I increased your charisma by 5)
11:10 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Mace's Command and Charisma are both at +5 right now)
11:10 (424) Mace: (( Sweet. ))
11:10 ** (424) Mace sees the orc is ready and takes hold of him from behind. **
11:11 ** (420) Tusken is submissive, until they get closer to the guards. Then he begins struggling. **
11:11 ** (423) Natrix prepares to bludgeon the guards against the wall with Brute telekinesis **
11:11 (424) Mace: (( Oooh, a fighter! ))
11:11 ** (424) Mace shoves the orc into the wall..playfully to them, but forcefully to the guards. **
11:12 (423) Natrix: he recalls the spell to memory and goes over the words and gestures in his head
11:12 ** (389) Silva flies over to a position where she can target the bell, trying to be unnoticed. **
11:12 ** (424) Mace gets him under control and walks up to the gate. **
11:12 (421) arthurtuxedo: (You'll all want to post how close you get to the guards)
11:12 (389) Silva: (Where is the wall?)
11:12 (424) Mace: (( I went to dinner with one the other night, but he was very standoffish... ))
11:12 (424) Mace: (( There's no wall? I thought it was a hallway. ))
11:12 (423) Natrix: (as close as I can without being seen)
11:13 (389) Silva: (Either way, within 25 feet of the bell, and if possible, 25 feet of all the garuds.)
11:13 ** (418) Zeke sits on the tied up, naked guard and stares off down the corridor. He's watching the party's back. **
11:13 (420) Tusken: (Tusken begins struggling at 25 meters)
11:13 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Does anyone know how to use the polyline feature? My freehand sucks, but I don't know how to make it stop drawing new ones)
11:14 (424) Mace: (( Noo..but I can draw on this thing... Not that you want me to start... ))
11:14 (418) Zeke: (( no. Never used it. ))
11:14 (389) Silva: (Nope_
11:14 (423) Natrix: (same. just use freehand... so long as it is recognizable, it doesnt need to be pretty)
11:14 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Anyway, those are where the walls are)
11:15 (424) Mace: (( I figured out the polything. ))
11:15 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Do tell)
11:15 (424) Mace: (( You just stretch it out to where you want it to go and double click it... ))
11:15 (424) Mace: (( That's what I did anyway. ))
11:16 (424) Mace: (( It's not perfect, but it's not monkey scribbles. *G* ))
11:16 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Cool. Thanks)
11:16 (423) Natrix: (alright, well, if that is the case, I move close enough to not be seen in the crappy light of a poorly lit dungeon. what distance would that be?)
11:17 (423) Natrix: (what kind of evil overlords are these theocrats. torch-lit walls... it is much safer to use flourescent laps)
11:17 (423) Natrix: (lamps)
11:17 (389) Silva: (Is there anyplace a bird could hide in the place, like on top of something, or a nook?)
11:17 (424) Mace: (( You could hide in someone's armor maybe? ))
11:19 (421) arthurtuxedo: (It's very dark in the dungeon. I don't know if you've ever been in a cavern or something with a torch, but they're not very bright. Spotting DF is 20 at 20 meters, 17 at 10, 15 at 5.)
11:20 (423) Natrix: (21meters then)
11:20 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Still, I think I exaggerated a bit last session, it would still be brighter than half-moon light at night with no other light sources. Let me revise those figures)
11:20 (423) Natrix: (I am assuming they have torch light or something by the door at least, conveniently illuminating them?)
11:21 (421) arthurtuxedo: (DF 20 at 40 meters, 17 at 20, 15 at 10, 10 at 5)
11:21 (389) Silva: (Where is the bell?)
11:22 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Alright, everyone roll your spot, and I'll tell you what you can see)
11:22 (389) Silva: [1d10+5] -> [10,5] = (15)
11:22 (423) Natrix: [1d10+6] -> [2,6] = (8)
11:22 (389) Silva: [1d10+15] -> [9,15] = (24)
11:22 (423) Natrix: (well... that sucked)
11:22 (424) Mace: [1d10+12] -> [2,12] = (14)
11:22 (424) Mace: (( Indeed. ))
11:22 (420) Tusken: [1d10+8] -> [4,8] = (12)
11:23 ** (418) Zeke is looking in the other direction [1d10+9] -> [8,9] = (17) **
11:23 (421) arthurtuxedo: (God you guys suck at spotting :) )
11:24 whispering to arthurtuxedo, Guards' spotting: [1d10 + 15] -> [9,15] = (24) [1d10 + 15] -> [10,15] = (25)
11:24 (418) Zeke: (( Meh. Zeke has nightvision 4 ))
11:24 whispering to Silva, Silva sees the bell. They replaced the rope with a chain.
11:26 (421) arthurtuxedo: A guard calls out of the murk, "Who goes there?"
11:27 (424) Mace: Transporting a prisoner.
11:27 (424) Mace: (( I don't know the vernacular for this. ))
11:27 (418) Zeke: (( Oh... ))
11:27 (418) Zeke: (( Not good? ))
11:27 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Being able to hear the guards helps a lot, and everyone can now see the two)
11:28 (421) arthurtuxedo: The two guards look at each other quizzically, and then go for their blades.
11:28 (423) Natrix: (yay)
11:28 (421) arthurtuxedo: Round 1
11:28 (424) Mace: (( Untrusting bitches. ))
11:28 (389) Silva: [1d10+17] -> [7,17] = (24)
11:29 (423) Natrix: [1d10+17] -> [3,17] = (20)
11:29 (424) Mace: [1d10+14] -> [2,14] = (16)
11:29 (421) arthurtuxedo: (The "transporting a prisoner" shtick might have worked better if not for the fact that you were in the private quarters area and not the cell blocks :) )
11:29 (418) Zeke: (( Well, that went worse than planned! ))
11:29 (423) Natrix: (I love my shitty rolls today)
11:29 (424) Mace: (( Well, I don't know what to say. ))
11:29 (418) Zeke: [1d10+23] -> [4,23] = (27)
11:30 (418) Zeke: (( Ack! Should be 21! ))
11:30 (420) Tusken: [1d10+22] -> [4,22] = (26)
11:30 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guards1 : [1d10 + 1d10] -> [1,7] = (8)
11:30 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 2 : [1d10 + 10 + 1d10] -> [8,10,6] = (24)
11:30 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 3 : [1d10 + 10 + 1d10] -> [1,10,10] = (21)
11:30 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 4 : [1d10 + 10 + 1d10] -> [3,10,5] = (18)
11:30 (424) Mace: (( I could have said, he escaped and I'm bringing him back, but either way, it looks like anything with a prisoner wasn't going to work.... ))
11:30 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 1: [18 - 1d10] -> [18,-1] = (17)
11:30 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 2: [21 - 1d10] -> [21,-5] = (16)
11:31 ** (424) Mace lets orcboy go, time to make with the killinating. **
11:31 (421) arthurtuxedo: (That might have bought you a little more time, but really. They were much better at spotting than the group, so there was no way you could have gotten close enough. Also, Silva discovered when she flew up there that they put a chain on the bell instead of a rope)
11:31 (421) arthurtuxedo: 1. Tusken
11:31 (421) arthurtuxedo: 2. Silva, Guard 2
11:32 (424) Mace: (( Well, that's a bitch. ))
11:32 (421) arthurtuxedo: 3. Guard 3
11:32 (420) Tusken: (each square is 3 meters, right?)
11:32 (421) arthurtuxedo: 4. Natrix
11:32 (421) arthurtuxedo: 5. Guard 4
11:32 (421) arthurtuxedo: 6. Guard 1
11:32 (421) arthurtuxedo: 7. Guard 2, Mace
11:32 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Correct)
11:33 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Actually, it should be 1. Zeke)
11:33 (423) Natrix: (Silva, can you be a dear and instant cast a Destruction spell on the chain)
11:33 (389) Silva: (Instant? I was thinking 1 phase, but, ok.)
11:33 (418) Zeke: "Oh, this is truly good!"
11:33 (423) Natrix: (1 phase would work too)
11:34 ** (418) Zeke runs towards the group **
11:34 (420) Tusken: Tusken rushes forward, bringing his axe up in front.
11:35 ** (389) Silva starts casting her spell.(1 phase) **
11:35 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 2 draws his blade.
11:35 (421) arthurtuxedo: As does Guard 3.
11:36 (423) Natrix: natrix begins casting a 1 round spell
11:36 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guards 1 and 4 unsheath their short swords.
11:36 ** (424) Mace draws his blade. **
11:36 (421) arthurtuxedo: "Ring the bell!", calls guard 3.
11:36 (421) arthurtuxedo: Round 2
11:37 (424) Mace: [1d10+14] -> [3,14] = (17)

11:37 (389) Silva: (Doesn't Silva's spell go off?)
11:37 (418) Zeke: (( nudges the RNG ))
11:37 (421) arthurtuxedo: [1d10 + 17] -> [10,17] = (27)

11:37 (421) arthurtuxedo: [1d10 + 15] -> [10,15] = (25)
11:37 (420) Tusken: (I hat you)
11:38 (423) Natrix: [Bad dice format] - [1d10}17]
11:38 (423) Natrix: [1d10+17] -> [6,17] = (23)
11:38 (423) Natrix: (much better)
11:38 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Oh, it was a 1 phase, okay. Let me determine initiative order, and then we'll go back and do the spell)
11:38 (421) arthurtuxedo: [27 + 1d10] -> [27,1] = (28)
11:38 (389) Silva: (ok)

11:38 (421) arthurtuxedo: 2. Tusken
11:38 (421) arthurtuxedo: 3. Guard 1
11:39 (421) arthurtuxedo: 4. Silva, Guard 4
11:39 (421) arthurtuxedo: 5. Zeke
11:39 (421) arthurtuxedo: 6. Natrix
11:40 (421) arthurtuxedo: 7. Guard 2
11:40 (421) arthurtuxedo: 8. Mace
11:40 (421) arthurtuxedo: (But first...)
11:40 (421) arthurtuxedo: Silva's spell goes off
11:40 (389) Silva: [1d10+2-5] -> [3,2,-5] = (0)
11:41 (389) Silva: (5 strand destruction spell)
11:41 (389) Silva: (To hit the chain, [1d10+13] -> [6,13] = (19)
11:41 (421) arthurtuxedo: (What kind of damage?)
11:42 (389) Silva: (Er.. Destruction has a damage type? Entrophy then.)
11:42 (423) Natrix: (good choice. decay the chain)
11:42 (389) Silva: (It does 10 damage to it)
11:43 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Oh, destruction. Nevermind, I thought you said direct damage)
11:44 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Hmm, 10 damage. That's like a warrior swinging a sword. Enough damage to incapacitate someone, but not sure if that would break a metal chain)
11:44 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Roll 1d2. If it's a 1, the chain breaks. If it's a 2, it holds)
11:45 (389) Silva: [1d2] -> [2] = (2)
11:45 (423) Natrix: (damn)
11:45 (424) Mace: (( You gave it an honest try. ))
11:45 (424) Mace: (( The Great Monkey is just evil. *G* ))
11:45 (389) Silva: (Is it possible to use an action point, or are they only for youself, and damage?)
11:45 (423) Natrix: (might it weaken the chain?)
11:45 (421) arthurtuxedo: The chain starts to disintegrate into metal shavings, but stops short of breaking. It is weakened, however.
11:46 (421) arthurtuxedo: (You can use an AP, but then you won't have it for later0
11:46 (424) Mace: (( How weakened? ))
11:46 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Another shot like that will break it)
11:46 (389) Silva: (Thats fine. [1d2[)
11:46 (389) Silva: [1d2] -> [2] = (2)
11:46 (421) arthurtuxedo: (hehe)
11:46 (389) Silva: (Sigh.)
11:46 (424) Mace: (( What about them hitting the chain on the bell? Would that break it. ))
11:47 (421) arthurtuxedo: (That's what she did. The bell itself is much too big and sturdy)
11:47 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Would take 100+ damage)
11:48 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 3 opens the gate on the far side to get at the party.
11:48 (420) Tusken: Tusken continues to rush forward.
11:49 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 1 goes to ring the bell, but just before he does, another bell sounds farther off into the prison.
11:49 (421) arthurtuxedo: He rings this one anyway.
11:49
BONG!

11:49
BONG!

11:49 (418) Zeke: (( Wha! ))
11:49 (423) Natrix: (this could be either good, or bad)
11:49 (420) Tusken: (you cocksmoker)
11:49 (423) Natrix: (I resemb;e that remark)
11:49 (423) Natrix: (resemble)
11:49 ** (424) Mace ((stabs the Great Monkey)) **
11:50 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 4 waits for #3 to open the gate.
11:50 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Silva's turn)
11:50 ** (389) Silva drops her polymorph spell, and starts casting. (1 round) **
11:51 ** (389) Silva is glad its dark out. **
11:51 ** (418) Zeke continues the headlong sprint **
11:53 (423) Natrix: Natrix weaves his hands and invokes arcane phrases. From his outstretched hands springs a ball of concussive force (7 damage, 4 penetration, concussive force, targeted on guard 1) [1d10+7-9] -> [2,7,-9] = (0)
11:54 (423) Natrix: to hit [1d10+14] -> [6,14] = (20)
11:54 (418) Zeke: (( I've had the sudden thought that maybe we're running the wrong way. ))
11:54 (424) Mace: (( It's in art's plan to kill us all quickly. ))
11:54 (421) arthurtuxedo: (location)
11:54 (423) Natrix: 1d10
11:54 (423) Natrix: [1d10

11:55 (423) Natrix: [1d10] -> [6] = (6)
11:55 (389) Silva: (Art, does the phase spell(the protection one) apply to spells?)
11:55 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Kidney)
11:56 (423) Natrix: (mind affecting spells will work)
11:56 (423) Natrix: (oooh a kidney punch!)
11:56 (421) arthurtuxedo: (It does apply to physical spells, like damage and such)
11:56 (389) Silva: (Good)
11:57 (421) arthurtuxedo: 7 damage + 4 pen - 10 resistance = 1 damage vs [9 + 1d6] -> [9,5] = (14) HP.
11:57 (423) Natrix: (god damn it)
11:57 (420) Tusken: (has the hitlocation table been updated and not uploaded to the site? Because mine says a 6 is Intestine)
11:57 (423) Natrix: (what armor are these bastards wearing?)
11:58 (421) arthurtuxedo: The spell knocks the wind out of him, but he doesn't seem to be seriously injured.
11:58 (423) Natrix: (isnt kidney a higher severity?)
11:58 (421) arthurtuxedo: (I must have lined it up wrong. Same effect either way)
11:58 (423) Natrix: (oh well...)
11:58 (420) Tusken: (ah, ok. Just wanted to make sure I was using the right version)
11:58 (423) Natrix: (sad panda)
11:59 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Medium mail is what these guys are wearing. With only 10 Magic SL, it's hard to 1-round cast spells that are going to do much against armored folk)
11:59 (421) arthurtuxedo: #2 bounds toward Tusken, and they meet in the middle.
12:00 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Since his init was higher and their weapons are the same length, Tusken's attack comes first)
12:00 (421) arthurtuxedo: (But not until next phase)
12:00 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Mace's turn)
12:00 ** (424) Mace moves forward. **
12:00 (420) Tusken: (why are there two number 2s?)
12:00 (420) Tusken: (oh, wait, nm)
12:01 (424) Mace: (( Cause you crazy. ))
12:01 (420) Tusken: (I'm wacky tobaccy!)

12:01 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Wouldn't have mattered, as you can see)
12:02 (420) Tusken: (shit)

12:03 (418) Zeke: (( Why do I feel a sense of impending doom? ))

12:05 (421) arthurtuxedo: The guard fakes high and stabs low, putting a bloody hole in Tusken's leg.
12:05 (421) arthurtuxedo: Round 3
12:05 (423) Natrix: (hey, I have a slight question, what would happen if I were to say... decrease the size of someones metal armor by a size category or two? WOuld the person start to asphixiate or something?)

12:05 (421) arthurtuxedo: (The spell wouldn't work)

12:09 (389) Silva: (Do I need to roll to hit the area I want)
12:10 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Yes)
12:10 (389) Silva: (Under the bell as a target.)[1d10+13] -> [10,13] = (23)
12:10 (389) Silva: [1d10+23] -> [7,23] = (30)
12:11 (389) Silva: (The spell is however big the normal darkness spell is, +6 meters.)
12:11 (423) Natrix: (damn it, you are going to mess up my spell,you communist)
12:11 (423) Natrix: (why darkness? That hurts us as uch as them!)
12:11 (418) Zeke: (( Not me! ))
12:12 (423) Natrix: (yeah, well it will fuck me up. And Tusken)
12:12 (418) Zeke: (( At least I hope not... ))
12:12 (389) Silva: (So they can't see us to kill us unless they come out, hopefully confused.)
12:12 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Anything inside the red cross is in total darkness)
12:13 (420) Tusken: (uh, so I can no longer see my target?)
12:13 (423) Natrix: (which means, that we cant see to kill them. I was about to double the weights of Guards 1 and 2s armor, making them cripplies, now, there isnt a whole lot I can do)
12:13 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Correct)
12:14 (420) Tusken: (fantastic)
12:14 (389) Silva: (Sorry.)
12:14 (424) Mace: (( Way to tell us this ahead of time. *G* ))
12:14 (420) Tusken: Tusken backs away as quickly as possible.
12:14 (423) Natrix: (and the others in the party are worthless to, Now, in order to kill them, we have to pretty much wait until they are all in one spot, we cant defeat them in detail, practically 1 by 1 like we would have been able to otherwise)
12:14 (418) Zeke: (( Wait, total darkness... As in pitch black cavern? ))
12:15 (424) Mace: (( Would it be possible for Mace to just run in and wing his sword around the run out? *G* ))
12:15 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Magical darkness. As in, can't see the light of ten thousand suns if it's on the tip of your nose)
12:15 (424) Mace: (( Sure would be nice if we had some grenades about now. ))
12:15 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Yes, but you'd have to guess the square)
12:15 (389) Silva: (I will drop it next round.)
12:15 ** (424) Mace won't be doing anything, then. **
12:16 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Zeke's turn)
12:16 (418) Zeke: Zeke, seeing the darkness ahead, slows down
12:16 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guards 1 through 4 do... something.
12:17 (421) arthurtuxedo: Round 4

12:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: [1d10 + 15] -> [9,15] = (24)
12:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: 1. Tusken
12:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: 2. Zeke
12:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: 3. Guard 1, Guard 4
12:18 (389) Silva: (So, what do I do if I roll a 1, then a 1 on the next roll? Roll - again?)
12:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: 4. Mace
12:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: 5. Natrix
12:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: 6. Guard 2
12:19 (421) arthurtuxedo: 7. Guard 3
12:19 (421) arthurtuxedo: 8. Silva
12:19 (420) Tusken: (shit, I gotta go afk for an undetermined period of time. Tusken will attempt to kill anyone in his way, preferably with head shots. Back as soon as I can be)
12:19 (421) arthurtuxedo: (No, you're subtracting, so it's reversed. You'd roll again if it were a 10)
12:19 (389) Silva: (1d10+17]
12:19 (389) Silva: [1d10+17] -> [8,17] = (25)
12:21 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Changed the map scale so that it's 1 to 1)
12:21 (424) Mace: (( Did the map just change or am I on crack...OK.... ))
12:22 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Go ahead with your spell, Natrix)
12:22 (424) Mace: (( It's still dark, yes? ))
12:22 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Yep)
12:23 (424) Mace: (( Why the heck did I roll, then? *laughs* ))
12:23 (423) Natrix: Natrix's last words of his spell sound like a curse on SIlva's name as he is forced to change a 2 target spell into an area affect and hope it works(5 meter radius spell on the oldlocation of the space between guards 3 and 4. Doubling the weight of all objects in the radius) [1d10+3-5] -> [9,3,-5] = (7)
12:23 (423) Natrix: to hit [1d10+14] -> [4,14] = (18)
12:24 (423) Natrix: (armor, weapons... whole nine yards)
12:24 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Hold on, checking something)
12:25 (423) Natrix: (k)
12:26 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Here it is. I thought I did that. "Unless otherwise specified, non-Wrath spells must use this for multiple targets, and not area effects.", page 9)
12:26 (423) Natrix: (oh god damn it)
12:26 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Too easy to mass heal the party and such otherwise)
12:26 (423) Natrix: (spell fizzle, hopefully non-painful?)
12:27 (424) Mace: (( Right eye blurry...brb. ))
12:27 (421) arthurtuxedo: Natrix casts the spell, and a fat load of nothing happens, then he remembers what he did wrong.
12:27 (421) arthurtuxedo: Tusken waits in a combat stance for someone to emerge from the darkness.
12:27 (423) Natrix: You hear him curse Silva's name rather audibly
12:27 ** (418) Zeke takes the opportunity to draw his knife, as he continues to close **
12:28 (421) arthurtuxedo: You hear the sound of another gate opening.
12:28 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Mace's turn)
12:28 (424) Mace: (( Can we tell what direction the sound is coming from? ))
12:29 (421) arthurtuxedo: (West)
12:29 (389) Silva: (Silva's init. was 25 after the roll, so wouldn't she go before Mace?)
12:29 (424) Mace: (( Which way is west? ))
12:29 (424) Mace: (( Towards the guards? ))
12:30 (424) Mace: (( Not that it's my turn now... *G* ))
12:31 (424) Mace: (( And not that the monkey is paying attention... ))
12:31 ** (424) Mace shrugs and moves forward. **
12:31 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Toward the guards, yes)
12:31 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Your init was 17, remember?)
12:32 (421) arthurtuxedo: (I don't know why you rerolled it)
12:32 (424) Mace: (( She got a one...then another one... ))
12:33 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Right, so 17)
12:33 (424) Mace: (( Ah, OK. ))
12:33 (389) Silva: (I dont mind either way, but could you clarify what happens if I roll a 1, then another 1 when rolling a the first 1)
12:34 (424) Mace: (( I think you just keeping going, right? ))
12:34 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Nothing happens. You subtract the 1 from what you rolled)
12:34 (421) arthurtuxedo: (If you rolled a 1 and then a 10, then you'd roll again and subtract that too)
12:34 (389) Silva: (Ok, thanks.)
12:35 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Natrix's turn)
12:35 (423) Natrix: Natrix begins casting a 1 round spell
12:36 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 2 comes cautiously out of the darkness, in a guarded stance. Tusken attacks immediately.
12:36 (421) arthurtuxedo: Tusken: [1d10 + 21] -> [10,21] = (31)

12:37 (424) Mace: (( That's funny. ))
12:37 (421) arthurtuxedo: Tusken lands a glancing blow on the guard's head.
12:38 (423) Natrix: (glancing?)
12:38 (421) arthurtuxedo: 13 damage + 3 penetration - 10 resistance = 6 damage. Guard 2 is Injured (-1 all rolls).
12:38 (424) Mace: (( Maybe he glanced part of the guard's head off? ))
12:39 (423) Natrix: (are we not dealing with severity here? I could swear head shots were nasty...)
12:39 (421) arthurtuxedo: (I added it. Sometimes shots to the head hit at an angle and don't do as much, seeing as how the skull is curved and all)
12:39 (420) Tusken: (back)
12:39 (418) Zeke: (( The scalp, for example. ))
12:39 (423) Natrix: (bah)
12:39 (421) arthurtuxedo: (1-4 is a severity 1 location)
12:39 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Silva's turn)
12:40 (424) Mace: (( Too bad you didn't come back sooner, may have actually hit something more dead on... ))
12:40 (421) arthurtuxedo: (You can cancel the darkness effect now if you want to)
12:40 (420) Tusken: (what? what happened?)
12:40 (423) Natrix: (she had better)
12:40 (389) Silva: Silva drops her spell, lighting up the area, as her spell from before goes off, and starts casting again(1 round)
12:40 (424) Mace: (( Tusken got a glancing blow in. ))
12:40 (421) arthurtuxedo: (You rolled a 44 on the attack roll and a 10 on the location, but only a 4 on the spec. location. So he's only Injured)
12:40 (418) Zeke: (( AT rolled a 48 to hir guard 2. ))
12:41 (420) Tusken: (um, ok. I did say "preferably with head shots" since I have a +5 to called shots, but the d20 would have still been rolled.)

12:41 (421) arthurtuxedo: (The guards didn't move, that's just where they are now that the spell is lifted)

12:54 (423) Natrix: (Oh, dont worry, I will... I do trust you know who this is right?)
12:54 (423) Natrix: Natrix worked to formulate a spell which actually worked this time. He shoves his hand forward (1 meter radius between guards 3 and 4, 40 points of knockback, into the wall) [1d10+6-8] -> [4,6,-8] = (2)
12:54 ** (501) Mace moves forward..some more... **

12:55 (423) Natrix: (should be 2 meter radius)
12:55 (496) Black Star: (I am pretty sure I know you bill. Aren't you supposed to be dead?)
12:55 (423) Natrix: (as that is what was calculated)
12:55 (496) Black Star: (:P)
12:55 (501) Mace: (( Howdy. ))
12:55 (423) Natrix: (the 1 was a typo)

12:56 (423) Natrix: (what is this marcao, no love for Ben?)
12:56 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guards 3 and 4 are violently hurled into the wall. 10 concussion damage, blocked by armor = 3 damage. Both Hurt and on the ground.
12:56 (496) Black Star: (omg! Ben? o.O I thought you were not around anymore. woo! :)
12:56 (389) Silva: Silva's spell goes off, once again increasing Tusken's power. [1d10+9-10] -> [1,9,-10] = (0)

12:56 (389) Silva: Silva continues to cast. (1 round)
12:56 (421) arthurtuxedo: Tusken suddenly gets a lot buffer.
12:57 (420) Tusken: (wait, once again? WTF did I miss? Am I a total killing machine now?)
12:57 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guards 3 and 4 pick themselves up off the floor.
12:57 (389) Silva: (+5 to hth, +5 to physique)
12:57 (420) Tusken: (rad!)
12:58 (496) Black Star: (<--- pretty lost)>
12:58 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Okay, so we're all here for the SS2 game. I know you said you want more time to prepare, but at least let our characters just meet each other and what not. I've been jonesing for this campaign to start like you wouldn't believe)
12:58 (420) Tusken: (yeah, I suppose we can do a bit of roleplay)
12:58 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Sweet)

12:59 (501) Mace: (( art has no life. does he? ))
12:59 (489) Red Fox: (( That's why I'm here. We could at least do that much. I mean, how else would a murdering madman get a chance to rub against royalty such as I? ))

01:03 (418) Zeke: (( stab, 6 damage ))
01:04 (421) arthurtuxedo: Zeke stabs the guard right in the temple. It doesn't penetrate, but the force of the impact makes him see stars.
01:04 (421) arthurtuxedo: 2 damage bleedthrough * 4 severity = 8 damage
01:04 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 1 = Wounded (-2 all rolls)
01:04 (418) Zeke: (( People in armour... I hate them. ))
01:05 (421) arthurtuxedo: (If you had got him in the eye, he'd be dead. No armor there)

01:07 (421) arthurtuxedo: With magically enhanced strength, Tusken swings for the fences and buries his hatchet in the guard's windpipe.
01:07 (421) arthurtuxedo: The man takes a few futile gasps for air before he collapses.
01:07 (501) Mace: (( Owies. ))
01:08 (421) arthurtuxedo: Guard 3 charges at Tusken
01:08 (421) arthurtuxedo: As does guard 4

01:11 (418) Zeke: (( Aw. Does the big guy need any more buffing? ))
01:11 (421) arthurtuxedo: Silva's spell magically sharpens Tusken's axe.
01:11 (421) arthurtuxedo: Round 7
01:11 (389) Silva: (Nope, you're next. Besides, I can't really buff him anymore.)

01:14 (418) Zeke: (( Yup. My little pointy weapon is a bit poor at killing ))
01:14 (421) arthurtuxedo: The guard doesn't see it coming, and is tackled to the ground.
01:14 (420) Tusken: Tusken stalks forward, still swinging at guard's heads as if he were playing teeball. [1d10+25+5] -> [9,25,5] = (39)

01:16 (421) arthurtuxedo: Bellowing as he swings, Tusken chops the man's jugular and continues all the way through his neck, severing his head. The headless stump shoots up a geyser of blood, covering Tusken. The head rolls several feet before stopping.

01:18 (421) arthurtuxedo: (You should be there by now. You realize that we changed the scale and you can now move 6 spaces per round?)
01:18 (423) Natrix: Natrix makes a sweeping downward motion with one hand, and a crushing movement with his other, He magically decreases Guard 3s phsyique by 4, raising his awareness by4, and doubles the weight of his chest piece [1d10+7-9
01:18 (501) Mace: (( Yeah, butI haven't been able to move Mace... ))

01:20 (421) arthurtuxedo: (Umm, I can't remember, actually. I'll allow it)
01:20 (389) Silva: (My interpretation is: You take a round to cast, it goes off at your next turn,and then you have your entire turn left. If I am wrong, please tell me. It makes more sense for this to be wrong, esle there is no point to 1 phase castings.)
01:21 ** (501) Mace is done moving stuffs. **
01:21 (423) Natrix: (well then my spells will start going a lot faster in the future...)
01:21 (421) arthurtuxedo: (The point is that your spell goes off before your opponent has a chance to roll higher initiative and kill you first :) )
01:21 (423) Natrix: (yeah)
01:22 (423) Natrix: BTW to hit with my spell [1d10+14] -> [5,14] = (19)
01:22 (496) Black Star: (*makes sure his black star dolly is comfortable before he settles to watch, NYC tap water in Dasani container.*)
01:22 (421) arthurtuxedo: (But I don't get how weight doubling, a 10 strand effect, can be crammed into 7 strands)
01:23 (423) Natrix: I was thining 5 stranf effect, hold on, may have ben thining another effect)
01:24 (423) Natrix: (shit, I was thinkin shrinking. Um... decrease his physical size by one category)
